Oxford Who's Who 2009

Who's Who 2009 is now available online. This 161st annual edition of the renowned big red book published in print by A&C Black since 1897, and now published online by Oxford University Press, includes more than 1,000 new entries, celebrating those whose achievements are notable in today's British society.

NEW LIVES FOR 2009
Craig...Daniel Wroughton Craig is one of the new figures selected to have an autobiography available in the latest edition of Who's Who, now joining his James Bond predecessors Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and Pierce Brosnan in the publication. Also included in the update are autobiographies for Joanne Elvin, Editor of Glamour magazine, actor Rob Brydon (Little Britain, 2005; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, 1998), Pink Floyd member David Gilmour, and New Scientist editor Dr. Roger Highfield, who notes that he enjoys Wii boxing, making him one of the first entrants to list the Wii as a recreation in Who's Who. Last but not least, Barack Obama is now dutifully included in this very important database of autobiographies.
