Recent Reference Releases That Have People Talking

Encyclopedia of Family Health & Wellness (AlphaHouse, 2008)
“Unlike many medical reference sources, this 10-volume set provides clear and concise information about health issues for the lay reader. Not only are the entries written in straightforward, nontechnical language, each entry has a corresponding drawing or photograph to illustrate the definition, condition, or treatment of the subject being described.” (September 2008, ARBAonline)

All People in the Bible: An A-Z Guide to Saints, Scoundrels, and Other Characters in Scripture (William B. Eerdmans, 2008)
“Losch’s organized treatment of the characters in the Bible, as well as his respect for other traditions and enthusiasm for the Judeo-Christian scriptures, makes All the People in the Bible a must for any church or seminary library.” (September 2008, ARBAonline)

Handbook of Health Psychology and Aging (Guilford, 2008)
“Overall, this is an excellent work that brings foundational conceptualizations and research trends of an emerging field into one concise volume. It is highly recommended for academic, research, and health science/medical libraries.” (September 2008, ARBAonline)
